Julep Maven

Julep Maven is one of the few subscription boxes that started before 2012 and I was a littles skeptical about subscribing to them since it was just nail polish and their prices were a little higher at $19.99 a box. The best thing about them is that they send you their full-size nail polish bottles.

Inside the box.
I liked the packaging of this box because it had confetti paper and the items are securely placed in plastic wrapping and a ribbon. I do admit, I just a subscription box by how the shippers package the box.

Polishes in packaging and hand lotion sample
The polisheds are securely wrapped in bubble wrap inside the plastic bag. It ensures that the polishes don't break.

The colors I got were Meryl, Rachel, and Oscar. Along with a sample of the Julep Everyday Hand Cream.

I really like the polishes, but the hand cream had a funky smell to it and it was too oily for my liking. If I were to purchase again, I would get more polishes.

Base coat: Meryl. Top Coat: Oscar

I really liked the way the two polishes turned out together. The gray in Meryl really brings out the gold flakes in Oscar. I did not think Meryl was a good color until I paired it with Oscar.

I paid: $0.01 from a promotion. I got $42.65 worth of products. I think even at $19.99 the box is still worth it.
